La struttura resta uguale alla precedente: core areas Korean, Mathematics, English, Korean History, Inquiry and Second Foreign Language/Classical Chinese. Korean History è obbligatoria; le altre aree sono selezionabili in tutto o in parte. Social/Science inquiry consente fino a 2 materie; vocational inquiry consente fino a 2 materie. Inglese, Korean History e Second Foreign Language/Classical Chinese sono valutate con absolute grading. Non esiste un punteggio minimo unico nazionale per l'ammissione universitaria: soglie e utilizzo del punteggio dipendono dalle singole università.
