初等考試 (Taiwan Entry-Level Civil Service)
初等考試(初考)是台灣公務員的初級入職考試,屬五等公務員考試,由考選部主辦。每年1月舉行,1天考完。無學歷限制(高中職以上皆可報考)。全部考科都是選擇題(無申論題),為台灣公務員考試中唯一純選擇題的國家考試。題目通常每科25-50題,4-5選項,每題1正確。每年約3-5萬考生。
